Huckleberry Products...

Huckleberry Haven takes great pride in presenting our delicious assortment of Montana Made Products. Try our original specialty - Huckleberry Jam. But don't forget our other gourmet food products like Huckleberry candy, chocolate, tea and coffee.

The Huckleberry People: In 1980, we began the Huckleberry People Company in Montana with two wild huckleberry products: Wild Huckleberry Candy & Wild Huckleberry Jam. People fell in love with what we were offering: quality products paired with a unique taste of wilderness. Ever since, our reputation of high quality Montana made products has been growing. It is built on two points that make our products unlike any other, delighting people age 3 to 103:

The Pacific Northwest Shop: The Pacific Northwest region of the United States is becoming almost as well known for its Tea as it is for its Coffee. In this section of the Pacific Northwest Shop you will find tea. Including Market Spice Teas, Apricot Tea, Wild Huckleberry Tea, Cherry Blossom Tea and our popular Enchanted Teas. SAME DAY SHIPPING.

Gem Berry Products: Looking for great tasting northwest wild berry products?  Gem Berry Products, Inc., located in Sandpoint, Idaho produces a high quality, great tasting line of wild huckleberry, red raspberry, wild blueberry and "razzleberry" (raspberry/huckleberry) jam, syrups, “no-sugar-added” preserves (spread), huckleberry barbecue sauce, huckleberry honey bears, and huckleberry lemonade concentrate.

Huckleberry Picking...

Huckleberry Picking: All first-time Priest Lake visitors should be aware of a "dangerous and extremely contagious disease" that infects most every person who spends more than just a few hours at the lake. The disease has no cure and its symptoms include talking to little purple berries, purple fingers and tongues, and even occasionally arm-wrestling a bear or two over temporary ownership of a patch of bushes in the forest. The disease is termed by the not so medically scientific name - "huckleberry mania".

Huckleberry Hounds: Sniffing out Montana’s delicious purple gem.

Huckleberry Recipes...

Huckleberry Buckle: This is a family recipe from my husband's mom and grandma. I like it better than the traditional cobbler.

Key Lime Pie with passion fruit coulis and huckleberry compote.

Always be prepared! Huckleberries exist in bear country. Berries are an important source of food and constitute about 15 percent of grizzly and black bear’s intake.
The ripening of the huckleberries coincides with the final feeding
stage before the bear’s hibernation.

A wise picker always moves on to another spot and allows the bear to feed undisturbed!
